Many workplaces offer CPR training. CPR training is commonly bundled with First Aid and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification. If you’ve ever worked in a workplace with an AED then you should be trained how to use it. You should also know where it’s located. If you know how to use it, but don’t know where to find it then it’s not going to do much good. An AED can save someone’s life if they are having sudden cardiac arrest, especially coupled with CPR. Imagine this scenario: Someone goes into cardiac arrest at your workplace. At this moment seconds count. You have to quickly remember your CPR training. You have to remember where the AED is and how to use it although most AEDs do provide prompts that instruct you. This situation is where the phrase, “You don’t rise to the occasion, you fall to your level of training” comes into play. This is why when you train you should do it with the intention that you may have to use it to save a life.
Jesus can save lives too. He can heal hearts and bind wounded spirits. The question is do you know how to get Him to those that need Him? Or rather do you know how to get them to Him? Have you trained in the Word of God so that you may use it correctly? If you have when the time comes, the Holy Spirit will teach you. He will tell you what to say (Luke 12:12 Easy English). If not, start today. Study the Word and learn to introduce Jesus to people, so that you may be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear (1 Peter 3:15 KJV).
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
