My wife was at a doctor’s appointment once and had been sitting in the examination room for a long time. Finally she decided to step out and see what was taking so long. When she did, the doctor saw her and said, “I forgot about you.” The doctor and nurses had totally forgotten that she was there.
Have you ever felt forgotten by God? It may be an exceptionally dark season of your life. It may be when nothing seems to go right. It may be that the promise is taking a long time to come to pass. It may be you just can’t seem to hear from God. These can wear in you and in our human nature we feel forgotten.

Zion is a type of Jerusalem and the church showing that both will feel forgotten.

He will not forget you. You are written in His hands, He cannot forget you. I know life gets hard. I know we get worn out. I know that it seems like we’re all alone, but we aren’t. For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (Hebrews 13:5 KJV)
