I went to pick up my son Levi, being just over a year old, from daycare. When I entered the room he was unaware. He was totally focused on the two toys he was playing with, one in each hand. I squatted down and said, “Hey, big guy.” His head popped up, eyes wide open and he flung the two toys and darted to me as fast as he could, smiling as big as he could. I didn’t have to call his name, because he knows my voice. We should know our Heavenly Father’s voice. This means that we must spend time in His presence. We can do this by reading His Word and spending time in prayer. Then we will recognize His voice. When He calls we should toss aside anything that may hold us back from getting to Him. Then go to Him or where He is calling us to, without delay.
