My son Isaac, who was in 1st grade, was at school one day and there were a couple of kindergartners running around. The teacher that he was with told them a couple times to quit running around. Their teacher soon took them away to their classroom. Isaac looks at the teacher and in frustration says: Kindergartners! His frustration with them was quite humorous. There is a lesson here too though. You see Isaac was only one grade ahead of them and he was a kindergartner the previous year. He though in his short memory had forgotten that he had come from this.
We too can graduate to different levels of maturity in the kingdom. If we are not attentive when dealing with those that may be less mature we can forget that, that was us at one point. We can become frustrated with someone because of how they are acting because they may not be as Christ-like as they should. They may still be struggling with things that we feel that they should have overcome by now.
Instead of being frustrated we if we see a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted (Galatians 6:1 KJV). This way we can bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2 KJV).
Galatians 6:10 KJV As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Titus 2:6-8 NET 6 Encourage younger men likewise to be self-controlled, 7 showing yourself to be an example of good works in every way. In your teaching show integrity, dignity, 8 and a sound message that cannot be criticized, so that any opponent will be at a loss, because he has nothing evil to say about us.
