Are you aware that Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Daniel were all 3 prophets of God who’s ministries overlap the same time period? This was during the Babylonian exile. This isn’t just interesting, it’s important. Why is this important? Even though they were all 3 prophets of God, their ministries were different.
You can’t look at someone else’s ministry and start comparing it to yours. You can’t think they are doing so much more or less. Or they do this or that. It’s not your ministry. It’s very easy to see what someone else is doing and think your ministry doesn’t matter. Anything you do for God matters. In Mark 9:41 Jesus even points out that giving a cup of cold water is important.
If you’re doing what God told you to do then you’re doing the right thing. No matter what someone else is doing. As Jesus said to Peter when he asked about John, what concern is that of yours? You follow me!”
(John 21:22 NET).
It’s our duty to follow Jesus and do what He shows us to do. So if you’re doing that, then you’re doing the right thing.
