Anybody that knows me, knows that I am a coffee drinker. There is a lot to be said about a good cup of coffee. There is also plenty to be said about a bad cup. I have drank coffee with people or tasted coffee that folks have made that was nasty. Usually when you take a sip of coffee you have to take a second sip to determine if it was as bad as you thought it was. And sometimes it is as bad as you thought it was or maybe even worse. I have had a couple cups of coffee that when I went to take a sip I spit it back in the cup because it was that bad. When you get a good cup of coffee, though, a good cup of coffee is amazing. I have had people tell me that they didn’t care for coffee, but they in turn tell me that they really like my coffee. You see often it’s not the coffee but the maker or the presenter if you will. Now that being said, you may have got a bad taste of Jesus from someone. That does not mean that Jesus isn’t good. It could just mean that whoever presented him to you did it incorrectly. If you have a bad taste in your mouth over Jesus, then taste again. If you have never tried Jesus, taste and see. Jesus is good and you can trust him.
Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
