In the very first chapter of the Bible we read this: God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:27 KJV).
I would like to explore this with you for a moment with you.
DNA is the software of life, containing the instructions for every cell in your body. Beyond the data, many see a symbolic “bridge” between the Creator and the created. Some researchers have pointed out that the sulfuric bridges that hold the DNA strands together appear in a repeating interval of 10, 5, 6, and 5 amino acids. In Hebrew letters have a numerical value. This is known as the Hebrew Gematria which means that 10-5-6-5 spells out Y-H-W-H (Yahweh). This suggests that God literally “signed” His name into the very bridge that holds our genetic code together.
We are born with 33 vertebrae, representing the 33 years Jesus spent on Earth in human form. As we mature and several bones in the lower spine fuse, the count becomes 26, the numerical value of YHWH. This reflects the biblical narrative that Christ came from the Father and eventually returned to sit at His right hand. The “33” of the physical incarnation eventually yields to the “26” of the eternal, unified Godhead.
Laminin is a protein molecule found in the extracellular matrix, the “glue” that binds cells and organs together. It is essential for holding the human body’s structure in place. When viewed under an electron microscope, the laminin molecule is shaped exactly like a Cross. The very substance holding our physical bodies together is shaped like the symbol of Christ’s sacrifice. Colossians 1:17 “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
In the Bible, the number 12 is the number of divine government and authority. We see this in the 12 Tribes of Israel (Old Testament) and the 12 Apostles (New Testament). We have 12 pairs of ribs. The 12 Ribs represent the Order of God (His kingdom and people).
This is not only intelligent design, but also purposeful. God has placed His signature within each of us like a painter signing his artwork. So remember on days you question your worth, that you have the Master’s name written within you.
Psalme 139:14 TLB
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it.
Romans 1:20 “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made…”
Ephesians 2:10 NIV
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
