Carried To Delivery

When it comes to babies being born there are many different delivery stories. Most of the stories you hear involve long hours of hard labor. The fact is that all baby deliveries are different, it may only be minor details, but they are different.

There’s a story in the book of Mark (2:1-12) that tells of a man that was sick of the palsy (paralytic). This man did not have the ability to help himself. He did have something valuable though. He had 4 friends that cared enough about him that they wanted to get him to Jesus no matter what. Jesus was in a house and there were a lot of people there so they lifted the man onto the roof, tore the roof apart and lowered him down in front of Jesus. Jesus forgives his sins and heals him. It’s truly a beautiful story. These 4 men carried this man to Jesus to be delivered.

Isn’t that what we are supposed to do? We are supposed to carry people to Jesus to be delivered. Something I want you to understand though is that each delivery story is different. It may take multiple people to help someone get to Jesus. You may have to carry them for a while. It may get messy, it may get hard, you may have to get help getting them to Jesus. Don’t let that discourage you or deter you. Don’t let obstacles stop you. The labor may be hard, but it’s worth it. Carry them to their delivery, carry them to Jesus.

Galatians 4:19 KJV My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

1 Corinthians 9:22-23 KJV 22 …I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 And this I do for the gospel’s sake…
