Behold The Lamb of God

John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world (John 1:29 KJV).

Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. He left heaven and came to earth. The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.. (John 1:14 KJV). He came though He didn’t have to. He offered up himself (Hebrews 7:27 KJV). Why? Because God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved (Ephesians 2:4-5 NHEB).

The sinless one, the innocent one took our sin. He took our punishment upon Him. So that we don’t have to be lost. God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8 NET).

Jesus died for each and every one of us. Jesus died for you. He himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world (1 John 2:2 NET). This means that you can be free from sin. This means that you don’t have to be in bondage. You don’t have to die lost. Because Jesus made a way. Do not ever forget this. Do not ever forget how much He loved you.

He was God manifested in the flesh. So the grave could not hold Him. He was resurrected and went to heaven. One day He will return. Be ready for His return.

1 Peter 1:18-19 KJV 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
