I had a friend once tell me the story about a very wealthy man and his wife that he had gone to eat with. As they were sitting there the wife asked: “do you think I could get a steak.” To which he replied with: “hmm I guess.” My friend piped up “YOU GUESS?”  He said: “you could buy the restaurant and, you guess?” The rich man had a poor man’s mentality. He just didn’t understand how much money he had.

It makes me think of the phrase “All we can do is pray.” How many times have we said or heard that?
