I heard a story about a woman that was in a testimony service. People were telling all about how God had blessed them. She, at some point, said that she envied those whom God had provided for in their desperate need. She admitted that she had never been in those situations because she always had plenty of money.
This caused me to think about grace. Grace is not amazing, until you receive forgiveness of your sins. Grace is not amazing, until you have failed over and over and still Jesus picks you back up. Grace is not amazing until you are surrounded by your accusers and walk away free. Grace is not amazing until you are at the end of your rope, and you are lifted by His precious love. Grace is not amazing until you share it. Grace is not amazing until you find yourself in need of it. It’s like having a present sitting under the Christmas tree, you can’t truly appreciate it until you unwrap it. When you find yourself in need of it don’t underestimate grace, because it’s always available and it is amazing.
Romans 5:20-21 KJV 20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
