Conduits Of Power

Electrical conduit is a tube used to protect and route electrical wiring in a building or structure. Electrical conduit may be made of metal, plastic, fiber, or fired clay. Most conduit is rigid, but flexible conduit is used for some purposes. In the production of conduit it goes from a flat form into a bending and shaping process. While in this process, it is heated to make it more pliable but water is added to make sure it doesn’t break or damage during the process.

We should be like conduit. We should protect the power and help route it or direct it into a building (other people). What is the power?

1 Corinthians 1:24 KJV …Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

All of us have access to different people that we can get this power to. We all may be made up of different materials because we all have different backgrounds,  experiences and personalities. These things make each of us unique in the way we minister to others and create openings for us to minister.

Some of us may be rigid, some may be flexible, but our job is the same. Protect and deliver the power.

You may ask yourself, how do I protect the power? One way is to protect God’s image by being Christ-like and not carnal. You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had (Philippians 2:5 NET).

Understand that we may be the only reflection of Jesus in some people’s lives. The Word says in 2 Corinthians 3:2 KJV Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men. Meaning our lives are laid out as the Bible for people to read. We must be attentive to what they may learn from us.

The other thing we can do is to stay in His Word and in prayer so that the power can work within us.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

We have to allow God to bend and shape us into what He intends us to be. It may get hot in the trials. It may get uncomfortable, but the Holy Ghost (water) will be there to make sure we aren’t damaged or broken beyond use.

Let us make sure that we are delivering Jesus to others and protecting His reputation with our lives.

1 Corinthians 3:9 KJV For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

1 Peter 2:12 NLT Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.
