Milk Or Meat

If a child only drinks milk and never eats meat, they risk significant nutrient deficiencies leading to fatigue, poor brain development, and anemia. This can also potentially cause muscle weakness, poor growth, and digestive issues. A balanced diet is crucial for supporting overall growth and preventing long-term health problems.

This can also be applied to the things of God. Jesus said that Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4 KJV). We should be reading the Word regularly, consuming it on a daily basis. If we don’t we can get fatigued very easily, not being able to withstand the daily walk. We will not understand the Word and be able to be led astray by someone that twists it up. We will become weak, we will not mature and not be able to digest sound doctrine.

It is imperative that we feed our souls regularly with the Word of God, so that we can grow up in Him.

Hebrews 5:12-14 (KJV)

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
