Have you ever put your key in a lock to open it and it does not work? You’ll pull the key out and look at it and see if you have the right key. Then what do you do? You try it again. If it doesn’t work then, if there is someone near that has a key you get them to try their key.
We have been certain “keys” in the kingdom of God. One of those is they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So if we pray for someone and they don’t get healed immediately, we should pray again. Just because the door didn’t open the first time doesn’t mean we stop. No, we try again. If it doesn’t work then, get somebody else that has the same authority.
It may not be a healing, it can be anything. If you have something that you’re praying about don’t give up because it doesn’t happen immediately.
It says in Matthew 7:7-8 (ISV) “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened for you. Because everyone who keeps asking will receive, and the person who keeps searching will find, and the person who keeps knocking will have the door opened.
If you have prayed and the door hasn’t opened, don’t turn around and walk away, pray again.
Matthew 16:19 KJV And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
