A Little Thing

I was making a small trip out of town to Baton Rouge once. I had an issue with my truck shaking and stopped in Alexandria to have my truck aligned and assessed. After inspection it was discovered that my lower ball joints were bad. So what was supposed to be a quick stop turned into a 4 hour stop. The gentlemen at the shop were great and doing their best to get me back on the road. In their haste they had forgotten to balance my tires. I called them on the road and they told me to come back sometime and they would take care of it. A week later I made it back to them. Upon inspection I noticed that my valve stem caps were missing. Now I had chrome valve stem caps so it was easily noticed that they were missing. This had to have happened a week ago when I had brought my truck in. I went into the shop and asked the workers if they had my chrome caps. They looked and there they were, my chrome caps. A week later and they were still there. Now this may not mean much to anyone else and it was inexpensive to replace. It meant something to me though. Which meant that it meant something to God.

Sometimes God will show you in little things like this that He cares about your little things. Yes, God truly cares about the little things in your life, He truly loves you. So if He will take care of the little things then why should we worry about the big things?

Matthew 6:26 BBE See the birds of heaven; they do not put seeds in the earth, they do not get in grain, or put it in store-houses; and your Father in heaven gives them food. Are you not of much more value than they?
